Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Dog Groomer to join our team here at Happy Tails. As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing quality grooming services to a variety of dog breeds, ensuring each pet's well-being and comfort throughout the grooming process. You will be expected to perform grooming tasks such as bathing, trimming, brushing, nail clipping, and ear cleaning, as well as identifying and addressing any skin or coat conditions.

Ideal candidates should have experience working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, demonstrating a calm and patient approach. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will interact with both pets and their owners, providing updates on their pet's condition and offering recommendations for care. A love for animals and a commitment to providing top-tier customer service is a must!

Responsibilities include:

Bathing, brushing, and trimming dogs according to breed-specific standards and client preferences.
Clipping nails, cleaning ears, and performing other hygiene-related services.
Ensuring a safe and comfortable grooming environment for all pets.
Maintaining grooming tools and equipment.
Keeping accurate records of grooming services provided and client preferences.
Offering expert advice to pet owners on grooming maintenance and care.

Requirements:
Previous dog grooming experience or a related certification.
A passion for animals and excellent grooming skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and professionalism.
