We are looking for an experienced and visionary Director of Marketing to lead strategic initiatives for a CPG client based in Los Angeles, CA. This role requires a dynamic leader who can balance creative innovation with operational execution to drive brand growth and connect authentically with diverse audiences. As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee marketing strategies, product development, and campaign execution to ensure continued relevance in both Hispanic and mainstream markets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive growth.
- Lead new product innovation, including packaging design and campaign development, to align with market trends and audience preferences.
- Manage the execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring they resonate with target audiences and deliver measurable results.
- Analyze category performance using tools such as Nielsen insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize product launches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Purchasing, Quality, and Finance, to ensure seamless execution of projects from concept to market.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including eCommerce strategies, to expand online presence and revenue.
- Drive cultural storytelling initiatives that authentically connect with diverse audiences.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Inspire and lead the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Requirements - Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing leadership roles within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
- Proven expertise in digital marketing strategies and eCommerce development.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and apply insights to marketing strategies.
- Experience in brand awareness initiatives and campaign execution.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects effectively.
- Proficiency in cultural storytelling and connecting with diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
