Job Description
Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Developer III to work with a large enterprise in Columbia, SC. This is a hybrid opportunity and will require 3 days/week onsite.
What you'll do:
- Conduct systems analysis and design.
- Analyze specifications and develop applications for information systems.
- Create detailed specifications for complex programs.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain applications.
- Define project scope and objectives for system modifications.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of application development, QA, and integration in mainframe, midrange, or PC/LAN environments.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Team player who can work under pressure.
- Experience with mainframe COBOL, APS (COBOL Code Generator), and DB2.
