Job Description

Are you a skilled CPA with a passion for the real estate and construction sectors? Join our team as a Remote Tax Manager and enjoy the flexibility of working from anywhere while making a significant impact in a dynamic CPA firm.

What You'll Do:

- Manage and oversee complex tax returns, with a focus on real estate and construction clients.
- Conduct research on intricate tax issues and provide insightful solutions.
- Review 1065 forms, handle 1031 exchanges, special allocations, cost segregation studies, and analyze partnership agreements.
- Supervise project teams and manage client engagements efficiently.
- Ensure accurate collection of accounts receivable.

What We're Looking For:

- Active CPA license is required.
- 5+ years of recent public accounting experience, including working in a paperless environment.
- Proven track record of handling complex returns and tax issues, with experience in real estate/construction preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in problem-solving.
- Adaptability to new technologies and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and tax software (preferably CCH Axcess & Engagement).
- Collaborative team player who shares knowledge and values others' expertise.
