What the position looks like:
- Working with multiple clients each week across a variety of accounting platforms & tools
- Focus on accounting responsibilities including cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, reconciliations & month end close
- This position is geared towards those looking for part-time work, with a potential to increase hours as client needs grow
- Part-time, flexible hours based on your capacity & our client needs
- 1099 contract role
Requirements:
- Interest in building up your hours over time, this is not a full-time role to start
- Expertise with cost accounting, including revenue recognition & cost of goods sold is required
- Prior experience in an Accountant role is a must; ideally 2+ years
- Accounting degree or equivalent work experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and practices
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Experience with various accounting platforms (QuickBooks Enterprise, QuickBooks Online, Xero, etc.)
