Construction/Electrical Foreman - $25+/hr DOE

A local company in Willis, TX is searching for a Construction/Electrical Foreman to join their growing team. This is a permanent position in the industrial water systems industry and the ideal candidate will supervise construction crews while performing specialized electrical work on municipal and industrial water systems. Schedule:

• Must be willing to travel locally up to 90% of the time
• Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work as required
• Hours and days may vary based on project deadlines and workload

Summary of essential job functions:

• Oversee three-to-four-man crew operations
• Perform general construction tasks and electrical work
• Read and understand blueprints and build to specification instructions with precision and quality
• Mount and wire up control panels to assembled equipment
• Install switchgear, wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment
• Perform troubleshooting repairs and adjustments to industrial/municipal water systems
• Ensure job coordination from start to finish to maximize efficiency and safety
• Maintain a safe and clean job site and provide JSA's (Job Safety Analysis)
• Layout and bend conduit, pull wires through conduit systems
• Read and interpret electrical designs and drawings
• Install lighting panels, switches, and circuit breaker panels
• Operate forklift as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA standards
• Maintain quality standards and meet project deadlines

Requirements:

• 3 years' experience as a construction foreman
• 3 years of related electrical experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• TWIC card or ability to obtain one
• Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Work in industrial environments including refineries
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions outdoors
• Knowledge of proper lock out/tag out equipment usage
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, grinders, and saws
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations
• General plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and welding experience helpful
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus
