We are seeking a skilled Construction Equipment Coordinator to join our team for a 1-year contract in North Slope, Alaska . This is a full-time position with the possibility of extension, offering the opportunity to work on a major oil and gas project in a challenging environment.


Role Overview

  • Oversee the acceptance of all equipment prior to entry into company operating areas.
  • Prioritize inspections in accordance with project schedule.
  • Validate contractor inspection programs meet company policies and best practices.
  • Participate in contractor equipment inspections and review and accept inspection documentation.
  • Continuously validate equipment used in support of the project has been inspected.
  • Perform ad hoc inspections to verify continued compliance with company standards.
  • Support contractor training for use of company fuel dispensing equipment.
  • Maintain logs of inspected equipment and track equipment actively in use/staged/out of service.
  • Other duties as required to support equipment use in company operating areas.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a mechanic, fleet management, heavy duty equipment sales and delivery, or equipment operation.
  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Ability to work remotely on rotational assignments.
  • Ability to kneel, sit, or crawl under equipment to facilitate inspection.
  • Ability to work outside in inclement weather.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with ability to manage multiple ongoing activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines and across organizational boundaries.

Education & Experience

  • Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in construction equipment coordination or related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in mechanics, fleet management, or heavy duty equipment sales and delivery preferred.
