GPAC is currently assisting a growing and stable client with their search for an Accountant . This is a Structural Steel Fabricator company that has been in around over 100 years and is needing an accountant to join their team. This individual will be responsible for accounting operations and more within the company.

Bookkeeper/Accountant Responsibilities:

* Planning, directing, and coordinating accounting operational functions
* Annual budgeting and forecasting
* Month end closing responsibilities
* Preparation of financial statements
* Work with auditors
* Work closely with leadership team
* Ensure compliance

Bookkeeper/Accountant Background Requirements:

* B.S. degree in accounting, finance, or related field, preferred but not required
* Minimum of three years of accounting experience
* Experience working win Construction world is preferred
* Quickbooks experience required
* Strong financial management and business acumen
