Job Summary:The Clinical Molecular Pathology Bioinformatics Analyst develops and provides bioinformatics support for data analysis, method development, software evaluation, and training in order to advance clinical molecular diagnostic testing. Designs and manages clinical software applications and interface programs and projects with simultaneous implementations. Responsible for implementation and ongoing maintenance of software applications and interfaces. This individual maintains working relationships with the Pathology Informatics Liaison, relevant Information Technology teams and vendors to facilitate the implementation of solutions for all clinical applications, systems interfaces and databases.
Minimum Required:
5 years of experience with Master's Degree or 2 years of experience with PhD in bioinformatics with prior experience in the processing and analysis of next generation DNA sequencing, microarray, comparative genomics, or other high-volume genomics data is required.
Experience using tools such as:
Field of Study: Bioinformatics, Biostatistics,Epidemiology, Computational Biology, Computer Science or Related Discipline
