Coggins & Sons, Inc. is a caisson drilling and shoring contractor located in Littleton, Colorado. We have jobsites located throughout the Denver area as well as the entire Rocky Mountain region. Job Responsibilities:
• Haul construction equipment utilizing main trailer, booster, and occasional jeep attachment
• Driving standard "legal load" floats and 35 ton lowboy
• Loading/unloading and securing of equipment, tools and materials being transported.
• Perform daily DOT inspections and have a thorough understanding of all DOT regulations
• Monitor and obtain necessary permits as required for loads being transported.
• Completing reports and time on a daily basis.
• Completing drivers daily log book as required by DOT.
Travel and work hours:
• Typical working hours are 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Oversize/overweight loads are subject to curfew restrictions, must have the ability to drive off normal hours, mornings, late evenings, and weekends will be required.
• Out-of-town travel with overnight stays is to be anticipated, per diem will be provided
Working Conditions:
• Requires outside work, sometimes in adverse weather.
• Driving in adverse weather requiring the use of tire chains
