CEI is currently looking for class A drivers. This person’s overall role is to pick up and deliver construction materials to job sites using a tractor and appropriate trailer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs pre and post trip inspections
• Prepares documentation, logs and reports as required
• Operates vehicle, performs minor adjustments and maintenance
• Secures equipment and loads, monitors load during transport
• Post trip reports
• Routes – Knowledge of Front Range.
• Ability to operate tractor-trailer with side dump or flatbed.
• Truck / vehicle write ups and inspection report procedure
• Maintain up to date list of jobs, phone #’s and emergency contacts.
• Maintains safety equipment: Triangles, Air hose, Air gauge, Fire extinguisher, Accident Reports, First Aid Kits, DOT safety manual, Tag
to sign off Fire extinguishers, Tie down equipment, chains, 2 ½ and 4” straps and Turn buckles, etc.
• Transports and dumps loose materials such as sand, gravel, earth, stone, asphalt or waste products. May also transport forms,
lumber, and other construction materials.
• Work harmoniously, co-operatively and courteously with others at all times.
• Performs miscellaneous other duties and responsibilities as required.
• Must posses and maintain current Colorado Class A Driver’s License, DOT Medical Certificate, and all license endorsements as required by position, State of Colorado, and USDOT.
