About the Role
We’re a small company with a high volume of work, and this role is vital to keeping our operations running smoothly. As the Certified Payroll Assistant, you’ll provide essential support across our accounting and administrative functions. This is a great fit for someone who thrives on variety and can adapt to interruptions while staying organized.
While this is an assistant role with limited upward advancement in the near future, you’ll gain invaluable experience and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our team’s success.
What You’ll Do
Certified Payroll Management: Prepare and report payroll through systems like LCP Tracker and to L&I for public works and prevailing wage projects.
Financial Records Management: Use QuickBooks Desktop to ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting.
Advanced Excel Tasks: Analyze and manage data with strong Excel proficiency.
Administrative Support: Assist with office management tasks to keep everything running efficiently.
Adapt and Problem Solve: Tackle interruptions with ease and pick up tasks seamlessly.
What We’re Looking For
Experience with Certified Payroll: Familiarity with LCP Tracker, L&I reporting, and public works/prevailing wage jobs is essential.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop: Advanced knowledge and practical experience required.
Advanced Excel Skills: Strong capability in data analysis and reporting.
Excellent Communication: Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Organized and Adaptable: Ability to manage shifting priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
