Triton Transit, Inc is currently seeking CDL Class A Linehaul drivers to fill immediate TEAM RUN openings at the FedEx Cypress, TX terminal/ Houston Hub AND FedEx San Antonio terminal

No Touch Drop and Hook Freight for FedEx Ground

Summarized Job Description

• Weekly runs over the road for extended periods of time, long distances, and between FedEx terminals.
• Drop and hook
• Average 5,000+ or more miles a week.

FULL JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 

• 21 years of age or older
• Must possess a current class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with double/triple, hazardous materials, air brakes, and tank endorsements. * Automatic transmission CDL restriction allowed.
• Must possess 1 year experience within most recent 3 years, or obtained a certificate of successful completion from a qualified linehaul driving school
• Must have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards
• Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements under section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier (FMC) regulations
• Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
• Ability to hook-up and break-down sets of trailers that require an average lift force of about 100 pounds, several times a day or more.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time, bend, twist, squat, climb in and out of truck
• Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
• Ability to work independently and/or as a team member
• Demonstrates initiative and motivation
