Job Description

Town Auto Group is seeking a highly professional and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate for the cashier position will be responsible for greeting customers, answering phone calls, and processing payments. This position requires excellent customer service and communication skills in English and Spanish, the ability to multitask and work well under pressure, and attention to detail. This position has scheduled shifts at all three Town Auto Group dealerships.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cashiers welcome customers upon arrival, answer their queries and guide them through the process
• Process large payments and ensure that all transactions are completed accurately and efficiently 
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and cash balance at the end of each shift 
• Direct customer complaints and work to resolve them in a timely and amicable manner
• Operate computer, phone system, scanners, and other electronics to perform job duties
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure the smooth operation of the facility

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to speak both English and Spanish
• 1-2 years of experience in a cashier or receptionist role
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Demonstrated proficiency in handling cash and operating electronic equipment
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and database software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License or equivalent. All licenses must be converted to a Washington State License within 30 days of employment.
• Clean driving record
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
