Job Description

• Should have a strong background in both residential and commercial carpentry
• Must have experience in framing, finishing and general woodworking
• Must be capable of constructing, installing, repairing and maintaining structures made from wood as well as other materials
• Must be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings and building plans
• Ability to measure, cut and assemble materials with precision
• Install structures and other fixtures such as windows, doors, flooring and cabinetry
• Have the ability and knowledge to repair and replace damaged woodwork
• Have the ability and knowledge to operate hand and power tools as well as other carpentry equipment in a safe manner
• Capable of working and collaborating with other tradespeople and team members 
• Ensure that all work meets safety and building code regulations
• Maintain clean and organized worksite
• Have the physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
