Business Execution Lead
We are hiring a Strategic Marketing & Portfolio Execution Lead to cover IL, WI, and MN Bayers Crop Protection Brands. The role will be responsible for architecting and executing integrated business and marketing strategies that align with the brand plans, unit-level goals, and field squad objectives. This role bridges strategic planning with tactical execution, ensuring that marketing solutions and product portfolios are optimized to drive growth, profitability, and customer engagement across all channels. Operating on a regional scope, you will play a pivotal role in aligning strategies with corporate expectations and enhancing customer engagement.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with the brand team to assist in building brand plans during the planning phase;
Lead the development and completion of the Unit Business Plan in collaboration with Unit Leads and Support Squads to align with brand plans;
Coordinate squad-derived outcomes into a cohesive Unit strategy across Brand product lines and indications;
Own and manage price and volume components of the business plan, ensuring alignment with corporate expectations;
Develop and enable demand strategies in partnership with TDRs, ASLs, and Unit Leads;
Architect actionable marketing strategies aligned with field squad business plans and customer enabling go-to-market teams;
Refine local marketing strategies using data insights and field feedback;
Co-create customized marketing solutions with field squads and partners;
Influence and implement brand programs, offers, and rewards to support field squad engagement with growers and dealers;
Support development of portfolio contingency plans to achieve revenue targets;
Coach squads on cost management, including obsolescence and excessive returns, to meet P&L goals;
Identify financial opportunities and communicate actionable recommendations to squads;
Maximize ROI of demand generation through data-driven decision-making and resource prioritization.
WHO YOU ARE:
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Demonstrated experience in sales, marketing, agronomy, or product management;
Proven financial acumen with a focus on driving top and bottom-line growth;
Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and critical thinking skills;
Ability to influence without authority and operate autonomously;
Excellent communication skills for agile and dynamic environments;
Fluency in advanced Excel and data management tools;
Valid Drivers License.
Desired Experience:
Minimum 8 years in sales, marketing, account management, agronomy, or related fields;
Bachelors degree preferred;
Experience in coaching teams and leading cross-functional initiatives;
Strong self-reliance with the humility to collaborate and delegate effectively.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $140,369.60 - $210,554.40 Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. If selected for this role, the offer may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
