We are seeking an entry-level professional to join Renesas' Embedded Processing Business Development division. In this role, you will work closely with a Senior Business Development Manager, contributing to the promotion of Renesas microcontroller (MCU) products. You will provide support to Sales and Field Application Engineers (FAEs) by delivering product-related insights, assisting in shaping go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen the product support ecosystem.

Your efforts will focus on understanding and communicating Renesas’ value proposition, identifying the ideal product solutions for customer applications, and enabling the Sales and FAE teams to secure key design wins.

Following a comprehensive training program, you will take ownership of business development activities for a specific MCU product line, guided by a Senior Business Development Manager.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the Renesas Microcontroller (MCU) portfolio to effectively support Sales and FAEs with accurate information, driving microcontroller socket wins across regions and industry segments.
  • Engage with Field Applications, Product, Software Development, Applications Engineering, Supply Chain, and other teams to build a strong understanding of the customer support ecosystem.
  • Identify MCU use cases in customer end products, develop system block diagrams with FAE input, and share success stories to facilitate design win replications throughout the Americas region.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive offerings, and customer product roadmaps, providing actionable feedback to the product team for future roadmap planning.
  • Develop familiarity with ecosystem partner solutions and recommend the right partner engagement to the Sales/FAE team.
  • Maintain and regularly update MCU marketing collaterals and easy reference lists to ensure Sales/FAE teams have the latest product and budgetary pricing information.
  • Track and consolidate MCU engagement status across regional and segment-specific customers, preparing insightful presentations for management review.
  • Represent Renesas embedded processing solutions at trade shows, events, webinars, and other channels, promoting the brand through internal and external communications.
  • Assist the Sales team with procuring samples and kits to enhance customer engagement and accelerate design opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with microcontroller and microprocessor products, particularly their application in the IoT industry.
  • Strong desire to learn and implement marketing strategies in real-world scenarios.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as customer interaction will be a significant aspect of the role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a team-oriented mindset, with readiness to engage with other teams as needed.
  • Highly driven and customer-focused, with exceptional problem-solving, negotiation and communication skills.

Additional Information



The expected annual pay range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 +. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
