About the Role:
Are you passionate about improving health and behavioral solutions in the corrections field? We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Business Analyst Consultant to join our team remotely, with a focus on enhancing our Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform. Your role will be pivotal in implementing and optimizing projects for our Health and Behavior Solutions team.
What You'll Do:
- Project Implementation: Lead the implementation, maintenance, and configuration of EHR projects using Oracle Cerner, contributing to effective solutions within our Health Services Bureau.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our EHR core team, including technology management and medical staff, as well as external vendors, to identify and drive improvements in EHR workflows.
- Optimization: Assist in building and testing EHR enhancements, generate reports using Discern analytics and SAP Business Objects, and support upgrades across various workflows.
- Analysis: Review and analyze business systems and user needs, aligning them with overall business strategies to ensure our EHR system is effective and user-friendly.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and improve business processes, reengineer workflows, and identify new technologies to enhance efficiency.
- Address and resolve application-related issues through active engagement with users.
- Develop and document business requirements and changes, and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).
Total Hours:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week, through June 30, 2025, with potential renewals based on performance and budget.
Key Qualifications:
- Required:
- Proven experience with SAP Business Objects Solutions.
- Expertise in maintaining and configuring vendor-managed software.
- Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving EHR/EMR system issues.
- Knowledge of EHR/EMR systems and workflows.
- Preferred:
- Experience in Agile environments and the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with test script maintenance, test automation, and process improvements.
- Background in government or correctional environments.
- Proficiency in business process mapping and integration points.
- Experience with SQL and PL SQL, JIRA, and reporting/dashboard maintenance.
Additional Information:
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Background checks and fingerprinting are required upon hire.
- Pre-employment drug screenings will be conducted.
- Familiarity with Cerner Electronic Medical Records is a plus.
