Duties/Responsibilities:
The Building Technician repairs and performs routine maintenance on all mechanical/electrical within the envelope of buildings and perimeter. This division maintains all buildings: lights, ceilings, doors, restrooms, HVAC equipment, etc. The Sr Maintenance Specialist will assign work (within zone) and monitor it to completion. The desired candidate will also be tasked with staying in constant communication with all team members and assist in problem solving situations. The Senior will also perform essential duties as needed including but not limited to: scheduling coverage for any situation that may arise due to weather, extreme temperatures, or in an emergency situation. Will fill-in when the Foreman is out and will be relied on to completed the duties described within the Foreman's PDQ (Position Description Questionnaire) with the exception of disciplinary action to ensure compliance regarding Human Resources policies and procedures. Contributes to the overall success of Facilities Services by performing other essential duties (for example: snow removal) and responsibilities as assigned. Assists in the implementation and establishment of preventive and preventative maintenance programs.
