Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper or Accounting Assistant

Location: Carlsbad, California

Job Description:

We are a law firm in Carlsbad seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling Accounts Payables and Receivables, along with year-end tax preparation. This role is crucial to ensuring smooth financial operations within our firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables, including data entry, reconciliation, and timely payment of invoices.

Monitor and update financial records accurately in our accounting system.

Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting.

Prepare and organize year-end tax documentation.

Liaise with external accountants and other vendors as needed.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Qualifications:

Previous bookkeeping experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment. Currently using Pro Law for billing platform.

Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred).

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Hours:

Part-time position, approximately 15-20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options.

Compensation:
