Job Title: Assembler II – Crating

FLSA Status: Hourly / Non-Exempt

Department: Operations

Supervisor: Warehouse Supervisor

Shift: 1st

What we are looking for:

The pallet builder is responsible for building pallets to prepare products for shipment.

What you’ll be responsible for in this role:

• Build pallets with use of hand and power tools
• Prep products for shipment
• Wrap cases and ensure proper instructions are included
• Take pictures of cases
• May load cases with fork lift
• May be responsible for basic data entry into a computer
• Clean cases and work station as needed
• Maintain work area in clean, safe and orderly manner
• Use proper safety equipment and apparel required for each operation on individual’s product line or work cell
• Perform other duties as assigned

What are the basic qualifications?

• High School Diploma/GED required

Physical Demands:

• Occasionally – Kneeling, Squatting, Pushing/Pulling, Reaching, Gripping, Neck Rotation/Extension, Foot Use, Visual Acuity (Near/Far), and Lift/Carry up to 50lbs
• Frequently – Stooping/Twisting, and Lift/Carry up to 50lbs
• Constantly – Standing and Walking

• Occasionally – Occurs up to 1/3 of the time
• Frequently – Occurs 1/3/ to 2/3 of the time
• Constantly – Occurs 2/3 or more of the time
