Job Description

Need to hire several Level III officers. A level III guard card in hand is REQUIRED for this armed position. Experienced Officers, Veterans, and Former LEOs are what we want. Officers who exemplify professionalism, are leaders, and lead by example are what we want.

Officers will need their own gear: belt, mags, holster, firearm, Vest.

Job Responsibilities:

• The Security Staff is responsible for promoting a safe environment for students, parents, and staff of schools, assisting in maintaining order, and investigating and reporting incidents involving the loss of property, theft, personal injury, etc..
• Provide escort for associates and guests. Patrols property to ensure the security of students and staff, buildings, and premises.
• Performs protective, preventative, safety, and security-related enforcement functions while touring the school property to ensure the safety of all.
• Completed security checklist.
• Walks through the entire property and around the outside to assure security, including locking outside doors and gates.
• Monitor activity in the parking lot.
• Assists staff as requested.
• Provides escort when needed
• Handles security-related situations in a courteous and restrained manner in coping with emergencies, undesired conduct, disturbances, and threats.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
• Be able to register with the Texas Department of Protective Services
• Must be willing and able to complete 8 hours of Level II Security Training (state requirement) before offer of employment. The company will pay for the class.

Security Guard Qualifications:

• Excellent knowledge of security protocols
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Ability to solve problems as they arise
• Attention to detail
• Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations
• Candidates applying for a role should have at least a year of work experience. We do prefer applicants who have worked in the police force or the army or those who have previous experience as a Security Guard, Security Officer, or another similar role.
• Candidates should also have demonstrable experience working with security systems, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and know how to write reports. And know how to utilize a Smartphone and Applications.

Security Guard Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid Driver's license and clean MVR.
• U.S. citizen, U.S. National or lawful permanent resident
• Must have a valid Texas guard license and 2 years of security experience. (Must possess unexpired state-issued guard license on the first day of duty.)
• Training is available for NON-COMMISSIONED POSITIONS.
