Job Description

InMotion Hosting is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant with a passion for accuracy to join our high quality Finance team and help us with the financial operations needed to ensure the company’s continued growth and success. In this role, you will be responsible for Accounts Payable management, maintaining the general ledger, reconciliation, BPOL tax filings, and providing accounting support to the team.

What You’ll Do:

• Own Accounts Payable, including the management of the company credit card expense platform and employee reimbursements. 
• Hands-on administration of all company sales, local, use, franchise, and business tax obligations. 
• Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts as assigned. 
• Assist with accounting period close tasks as assigned.
• Research and address financial reporting inquiries. 
• Prepare regular financial reports requested by leadership and team members. 
• Identify areas of improvement in current processes to increase efficiency and accuracy of the team. 
• Work independently and within teams on special projects.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and produce accurate, timely, high quality accounting deliverables. 
• 2-3 years related experience working with general ledger, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, etc. 
• Professional experience working with accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, SAP (NetSuite highly preferred). 
• Experience using Excel or G Sheets to perform account reconciliations - exporting, formatting, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and basic formulas. 
• Accounts Payable and tax experience preferred. 
• Understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 
• Ability to manage priorities, exercise discretion, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
