Job Title: Accountant
Location: St. Charles, MO 63301
Duration: 6+ Months (Possible Extension)

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to support financial operations by ensuring accurate transaction processing and maintaining financial integrity. This role serves as both a Financial Custodian , ensuring compliance and controls, and a Strategic Partner , providing financial insights to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have experience in general accounting, financial reporting, and ERP systems .

• Process transactions accurately and on time for Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Travel/Entertainment Expenses .
• Ensure compliance with financial transaction recording standards , including general ledger, cash payments, and collections.
• Reconcile balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and bank accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
• Prepare management and compliance reports , including financial statements, cash flow reports, and budget analysis.
• Support project accounting , providing financial analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance .
• Experience: Hands-on experience in accounting (not bookkeeping) , including journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and depreciation accounting.
• Technical Skills:
  • Required: Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
  • Preferred: Experience with Power BI, data cubes, and ERP accounting systems .
